The current heatwave continued to bring record temperatures to the Valencian Community on Saturday 27th August, that once again saw Xativa record 44 degrees, whilst Valencia overall was one degree lower, but some streets baking in the sun registered as much as 47. 

This was also reflected across the Valencian Community with Rojales in Alicante Province registering forty degrees, and Castellon City 36, degrees but the forecasters are predicting a drop of as much as ten degrees the following day.
