It was 8 am yesterday morning when two men, one of whom was armed with a fake as it turned out pistol, attacked a bank in the Transitos district of Valencia, threatening the manager and managing to get away with 47,000 Euros. 

However when the left the bank, they were met by an armoured car whose personnel managed to detain one of the robbers, whilst the other fled the scene in a brown Citroen C3. 

When the police arrived, the security guards on the armoured car handed over the man they had caught, together with his haul of cash, whilst members of the National Police on motorcycles intercepted the Citroen whose driver and passenger are now being interrogated.
