THE BIG CLEAN UP!

During Falla week, the garbage services of Valencia Town Hall have collected some seven thousand two hundred tons of rubbish of which 2,800 were all that remained of the 760 Falla monuments.

On average the garbage services used some 1,400 people every day, using 227 vehicles. However, the downside to this is that using Falla week as an excuse, hooligans destroyed one hundred garbage containers that are going to have to be replaced at 1,200 Euros a pop, and a total of 1,137 rubbish bins.
