Description:
The Valencia Life network reports...As happens every year, a special aircraft brings Valencians back to their native land after they were forced to emigrate to Latin America during the Civil War. Yesterday, the group visited some of the Falla monuments as shown above and later, after a Paella and a rest, they visited the floral offering to the Virgin.
Earlier, the group had been received by Francisco Camps the President of the Valencian Community and Valencia Mayoress Rita Barbera.
A typical case in point is Mexican architect Jose Maria Luis, whose parents emigrated after the Civil War, who spoke for everyone: "We are enjoying our visit much more with our hearts than our eyes. The Falla monuments are simply magnificent pieces of art. Why do these marvellous pieces of artistry have to be burned"?
