Mayoress Rita Barbera has received 141 million Euros from the Zapatero Government. The mayoress is set to distribute the money on 172 projects of which 82 are already started. It is reported that this will give temporary employment to 2,145 people.
She went on to state that this is only 90% of the true cost of these projects and it will fall to the local councils to find the other 10%. In the case of Valencia this will be about twelve million Euros.
She accuses the government of not having any continuity in their plans.
