The Valencia Life Network reports...This is the top of one of the Ninots for the Nou Campanar Falla that is being set up near the North Station in Central Valencia. At 27 metres high, it is the tallest Falla ever to take to the streets of the City, and is the creation of Falla artist Julio Monterrubio, whose Falla monument this year cost nine hundred thousand Euros.
Mr Monterrubio stated that the two giant Ninots represent the elements: the sea (the male figure pictured above), whilst the woman represents the elegance and romanticism of the earth. Each of the two figures weighs fifteen tons when fully assembled.
