The Valencia Life Network reports...

Swedish furniture giant IKEA has sent a letter to Juan Maria Calles, the Socialist spokesman on Castellon Town Council to the effect that the company is prioritising the opening of stores in the Provinces of Alicante and Valencia over Castellon.

In the letter Sylvain Laval, the Director of IKEA Spain revealed that the company intended to open its three planned stores in the Valencian Community between 2010 and 2015, and that the first phase would be those of Alicante and Valencia, to be followed by a study of the area around Castellon City, with an option of setting up another centre there.
