It has been revealed that Paterna Town Council is still in talks with representatives of the Swedish furniture giant IKEA. A meeting that was supposed to take place yesterday was pulled forward to Tuesday at the request of IKEA in order to maintain the maximum amount of discretion over the talks.

The main point is to avoid a repetition of what happened last week when Paterna revealed it had broken off talks with IKEA, and Udo Knappstein, the director of expansion of IKEA Iberica, called a press conference in which he stated that at no time had the company called off its talks in Paterna.
