The Valencia Life Network reports....

Valencian Supermarket Chain Mercadona has revealed that it intends to create at least a thousand new jobs over the next four years.  In addition, the company that already has 62,000 employees has agreed to wage increases that oscillate between 0.5% and 2.4% over the next four years.

These were the two main developments following talks between Employment director Francisco Aparicio and representatives of three trades unions.
