It has been revealed that 57% of the tourists that visit Valencia are from Spain, and that 63% of the foreign visitors are from countries within the European Union, mainly from France, Germany and Italy.

Overnight stays in the City increased by 94% between 2002 and 2007 - one of the highest rises ever recorded, and this trend is expected to continue due to the large amount of international events that take place in Valencia.
