The Valencia Life Network reports....

The incorporation of Argentineans, Bolivians, Columbians, Chileans, Ecuadorians, Paraguayans, Peruvians, Uruguayans and Venezuelans into the electoral rolls in time for the next voting means that in effect they could alter the political landscape considerably across the Valencian Community.

This could certainly affect the voter outcome in Castellon de la Plana, Elche, Torrent and Benidorm, where the foreign vote is expected to mean four extra councillors, as well as two extra members of the Town Councils in Valencia, Alicante and Castellon, and as many as seven in Torrevieja.

In other towns of the autonomy, the foreign vote will also be decisive: in Rojales where as many as 17 councillors; San Fulgencio, where eleven of the seventeen members of the Town Council could come as a result of the foreign vote, and about thirteen councillors could be elected as a result of the foreign vote in Oropesa del Mar, with the foreign vote being equally decisive in the neighbouring towns of Peñiscola and Torreblanca.
