Mammoth shopping centre to be created at Burjassot, Valencia

It was reported by Valencia Life Network that there is to be another huge complex built near Valencia.

Sources from Burjassot Town Hall (Valencia) have revealed that it is now intended to create a mammoth commercial centre in the municipality, with more than 180 shops, a large hypermarket, several hotels and office buildings, with a total investment of 330 million euros.

The new centre is the result of an extensive collaboration between Burjassot Town Hall, the Eroski Group, Alcamuga SA and the Valencia Constitution Building company.

The project is set to generate 1,900 jobs immediately with 900 fixed jobs once the centre has been opened.

This is just what is needed at this time of crisis, especially in the construction industry.  However, one wonders how many more shopping complexes can be put up, as the last several years have seen quite a few created and extended in and around Valencia City.
