Xàtiva reaches 31 degrees. And it's mid-November!

Xàtiva reaches 31 degrees in November after an increase of 3ºC to 7°C in temperatures across the Valencia Community.

But, starting Thursday it is forecast to be cooler and it could even rain with the start of the Levante wind.

Temperatures rose yesterday across the Valencian Community moderately or markedly, depending on the area. The heat is particularly noticeable in Castello, where the maximum recorded yesterday rose to 7 degrees, reaching 28. It was also very hot day in Xativa, where it reached almost summer temperatures and the highest record of the day was 31 degrees, incredibly right in middle of November.

According to sources yesterday from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the maximum rise was in the north and a moderate rise took place in the rest of the Comunitat, where temperatures have risen by between 3 and 5 degrees, and achieving maximum of 30 degrees in Valencia and 29 in the town of Rojales, in Alicante.

Also, Vinaròs locations, with 26 degrees, Utiel with 25, and municipalities Polinyà and Xativa Valencia with 27, are other peaks recorded yesterday according to the AEMET.

Moreover, the minimum temperatures have remained virtually unchanged, with a tendency to rise slightly, which is incredible for teh middle of November.

The forecast is that as of today temperatures will begin to gently lower. On Thursday, with the entrance of the Levante wind it will feel fresher and even might rain.
