Description:
In another report from the Tourist Office they state that in July, various experts and professionals from the most important business associations in the Alicante tourist industry came together at the Costa Blanca Tourism Observatory held in Calpe.
The purpose of this discussion forum was to analyse the current situation and find solutions in relation to the different products, segments and subsectors that make up the Costa Blanca tourist business sector.
The conclusions adopted include the need for a public-private sector action unit, the convenience of co-marketing actions, and the constant improvement in professionalism and training. Furthermore, the participants agreed about the need to improve basic transport infrastructures and safe supplies, to maintain quality and fight against unprofessional practices and unfair competition.
The Costa Blanca Tourism Observatory, organised by the Alicante Association of Travel Journalists and Writers with the collaboration of Calp Council and the support of the Valencian Regional Department of Tourism, brought together close to 150 journalists, mayors and local councillors from coastal and inland municipalities, tourist business associations, and tourist business owners and professionals from the province of Alicante.
