CINESUB at the Oceanogràfic
Between 15th and 17th May, the Oceanogràfic in the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias will host CINESUB, the prestigious international festival of underwater documentaries, an event supported by award-winning professionals with a reputation for work that always makes an impression.
Over these three days, the Mar Rojo auditorium will screen the prize-winning works from the latest World Festival of Underwater Pictures, held in Antibes in France. These include SuperFish by Richard Rosenthal, which won the Public's Special Award and the Planète Thalassa Award; the short film El último viaje by Rafa González, which has garnered several awards; and the documentary by Mayte Sánchez condemning whale hunting.
Speakers at the festival include Leandro Blanco, winner of more than a hundred awards from all over the world (including recognition by the Royal Photographic Society), who will give a series of conferences on topics related to underwater pictures and the world of the oceans.
