Francisco Camps, the President of the Valencian Community, arrived in Dallas yesterday at the head of a large business delegation.

 After meeting Mayor Thomas Leppert, who gave him a glass key of the city, Mr Camps addressed the Dallas Committee of Foreign Relations during which he stated the strength of the Valencian Community, its international image achieved through its exports and the staging of major events as well as its location made it an ideal place for any company to set up a bases in Europe.

He also stated that with its major ports, two international airports, thousand kilometres of motorways and 800 Kms of rail network showed the the Community was one of the best-connected in Europe.

As a result of this first day in the United States, an air link between Dallas and Manises is expected to be set up shortly.
