Francisco Camps, The President of the Communitat Valenciana, defends himself against accusations of corruption

The president of the Valencian Catalan Autonomous Government, Francisco Camps, appeared on the morning of 19th February in The Valencian Court of the autonomous Parliament, where he has defended himself against the accusations that presumably implicate him in the plot headed by Francisco Strap that judge Garzón investigates.

Camps made his attack against the socialist spokesman during this session. Shortly after giving explanations of urgent form before mass media in the Valencia Palace of Government (although he has not admitted anything), where he has denied the accusations.

He reacted, flanked by the first and second vice presidents of the Councel, Vicente Rambla and Gerald Camps, as well as by the mayoress of Valencia, Rita Barber. These are accusations from the socialist spokesman, Angel Moon, after the arrest of the boss of the Orange Market as reported last week.

The corruption plot is being investigated by judge Garzón, who has the power to create an investigation commission.
