Freelance Media Reps for on-line guide Alicante/Costa Blanca (Valencia Community)

We are looking for Freelance Media Sales Representatives to sell advertising space on our  website Guide2Valencia, but covering Alicante/Costa Blanca.  Please see details below.

Generous commission and residual commissions paid on year 2 and onward renewals.

Must be able to sell media space, but not necessarily on the internet.  You will need to be able to sell the concept of what we are doing with this exciting project, which is described below.

We will issue a rate card and you will need to sell to the rate-card, but in order to help close a deal you will have a built in latitude where you do not have to refer back to HQ.   Over that, then you will.  There will also be introductory offers for you to sell at discounted prices if you need them.   You are required to help formulate such offers.

We will expect the applicant to think outside the box and be able to put together special deals and promotions, applicable to their own area.

The rates are exceptional and should be easy to sell compared with the high rates charged for conventional media advertising.

Our Guide2 internet site will be available to a far wider audience than conventional local media publications.

If you take a given area with a defined group of towns and villages, we will NOT appoint another representative, as long as you are achieving an agreed target.  Please note that within the Valencia City boundary we do not expect to allocate areas and there may be a small number of agents working there.

We will expect to receive information about the allocated villages to include in the website.  Details of Fiestas, places of interest etc.  Any breaking news as well.  Constantly updated websites receive better Google ratings!

You must be a legal, self employed "auotonomo" for tax purposes and able to issue us a monthly invoice which will be subject to 16% IVA.  You can then claim IVA against your own expenses.   You will be aware of this anyway.

This is an exciting opportunity and will suit someone who is outward looking and can think about ways to sell our exciting new concept.
