Beach - Pinedo immediately South of Valencia City

Playa de Pinedo - Beach near Valencia, Spain. 

Pineda beach - Close to Valencia City to the south, is the closest to Valencia and it has a nudist section.  The Beach also has handicap access and basic services for public use.

However, the quality is not nearly as good as that of El Saler, which is only another 5 min down the road. With the El Saler so close, there is no reason to stop off here. Pinedo is just as crowded at peak times. However, Pinedo will be of interest to nudists.

Once again, though, Playa de la Devesa is a more attractive option for the nudists but it's another 15 min by bus and 20-30 min on foot.  La Devesa is a real nudist beach while Pinedo is mixed. The non-nudist mirones ("starers") have been described as annoying.  However, if you want to go nudist but you don't have time for La Devesa, Pinedo is an acceptable compromise.

Playa de Pinedo Beach is placed to the south of the port and the nautical club that protects this beach from the winds of the north. It is an open beach of fine golden sand and has a zone of dunes and vegetation that contains the popular "Huerta Valenciana"

The Red Cross has a longboat for emergency cases and any danger is signalized by flags.

A promenade is currently under construction at Playa de Pinedo. Due to these works, the structure is changing and will have better facilities in due course, after the improvemnts.

Equipment and services: this beach has special handicapped persons facilities, parking and showers, beach umbrellas and hammocks, chiringuitos, restaurants, entertaintment in form of games, a promenade, rest rooms, renting from water crafts.
