Playa de El Saler - Beach near Valencia, Spain

Over six kilometres of clean, sandy beach near Valencia's La Albufera Natural Park.  It is bordered by a grove of shady pine trees.  The jewel in the crown of the immediate Valencia beachline, El Saler is a blue flag beach of supreme quality.

White sand dunes, blue warm water, clean strip, gentle breeze - El Saler is top quality. This is Valencian beaching at its best, until the coastline reaches Denia in the Alicante province.

To be fair, this coastline carries on at a good quality for a while, but El Saler has the infrastructure and the accesibility.

With only half an hour bus trip from the centre of Valencia, El Saler is a great bargain. Needless to say, though, it gets extremely popular on the international level in the summer months.  For the same quality and lesser crowds you could carry on to La Devesa.  See separate entry.

There are several monitored and some none monitored carparkgs. There is beach cleaning. The Red Cross has a longboat for emergency cases.   Flags signal any danger.

You can access the beach through the road Cullera - Valencia. Playa del Saler obtained in the past the Blue Flag for it's clean sea and beach.

Equipment and services: this beach has special handicapped persons facilities, parking and showers, beach umbrellas and hammocks, restaurants, entertaintment in the form of games, a promenade, rest rooms, renting of water crafts and a picnic area.

You can practice windsurfing and sailing, Jet Skiing, beach Volleyball and other kinds of sports.
     
The beach entrance from El Saler town has two excellent restaurants and paid parking for a very small fee. 

El Saler Village has some restaurants too and is also worth a visit.
